The chair and trustees of Tŷ Cerdd would like to acknowledge with gratitude the support of all partners who have helped realise the aspirations of the National Youth Choir of Wales for 2015. The residential course in July together with the concert in Llandaff
Cathedral is by way of preparation for a tour of Argentina in October. This is in celebration of Patagonia 150 and the Choir will give concerts in Buenos Aires, Trelew and Gaiman during their 10 day visit.
In particular Tŷ Cerdd wishes to thank the Wales Millennium Centre for the enormous encouragement and co-operation that has gone into the partnership between the two organisations which has made this tour possible.
We are grateful to the Welsh Government and the Arts Council of Wales for their support. We are also grateful to the Colwinston Charitable Trust for supporting the commission by Paul Mealor and the British Council for its logistical and financial help.
The Argentine Embassy in London has supported the visit of Camilo Santostefano to Wales and the Mayor of Trelew is assisting the National Youth Choir with accommodation and transport during the Patagonia leg of the tour.
Thanks are due to Friends of the Choir for their financial support and to Mark Burrows of Melody Music for looking after the travel arrangements.
